“From pain comes purpose.”
Bullied as a kid and a bit of a “nerd” as a teen Patrick found his escape in the urban art form of break dancing. As his closest friends joined gangs, experimented with drugs and alcohol Patrick began utilizing his new dance style to break into a new life.
By the time he graduated from high school he had a small following of Latino male “at-risk” pre-teens who gravitated to his dance style, energetic personality and authentic concern for them. Just as Patrick had several men of character guide and instruct him in life he began pouring his own life and knowledge into younger students.
“You don’t get what you wish for,you get what you work for.”
Patrick believes that great things come to those who are willing to pay the price. Pulling double duty during college Patrick founded his first company called Lead, Encourage And Dance(LEAD). This non-profit, multi-media motivational company combined dancers,singers and martial artists into a character enrichment performance program for teens.
In the fall of 2006 Patrick branched out as a “youth speaker” continuing the mission of LEAD solo. Since then he has spoken in over 30 states and has spoken at 4 national level youth leadership conferences!
