Patrick "Pac Man" Perez is a nationally recognized youth motivational speaker, keynote presenter, and professional breakdancer who has spent more than 20 years inspiring students and organizations across the United States.
Known for his high-energy stage presence and authentic storytelling, Patrick combines the art of movement with powerful life lessons that resonate with today’s generation of students.
As a breakdancer, Patrick learned early that failure is part of the process. Every missed move, every fall, and every challenge became an opportunity to adapt, grow, and try again. Those lessons now form the foundation of his keynote message on resilience and leadership.
Patrick has delivered keynotes for youth leadership conferences, student organizations, and national events, helping thousands of students build confidence, strengthen leadership skills, and believe in their ability to create meaningful impact in their communities.
His presentations are known for being interactive, energizing, and deeply relatable for students navigating the pressures of academics, social dynamics, and the transition into adulthood.
Patrick’s mission is simple:
To help young people realize that their story matters, their choices matter, and their actions matter.

Patrick Perez isn’t just a youth keynote speaker—he has spent decades working directly with students in classrooms, mentorship programs, and community initiatives.
As a Career & Technical Education (CTE) Entrepreneurship teacher at Del Valle High School, Patrick worked with predominantly Black and Brown students from low-income communities, helping them develop leadership skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and confidence in their future.
Beyond the classroom, Patrick has dedicated his career to mentoring young people through the arts and community leadership. As a mentor with the city of Austin's ETA (Emerging Teaching Artists) program, he has guided artists from marginalized Black, Brown, LGBTQIA+, and people with disabilities communities as they navigate education, identity, and leadership in a rapidly changing world.
Patrick is also the founder of Baila and Beats, a community initiative that uses dance, music, and creative expression to build resilience, confidence, and belonging among young people. Through this work, Patrick has helped create safe spaces where students can express themselves, build community, and discover their voice.
Before stepping onto keynote stages across the country, Patrick first built his message on the ground—working with real students facing real challenges.
Combined with his career as a professional breakdancer and youth leadership speaker, Patrick brings a rare combination of lived experience, cultural understanding, and high-energy engagement that resonates deeply with today’s generation of students.
"You are a very talented man and you inspire many to get their life in order to succeed through positive choices. Thanks for coming out here and keep up the fantastic job and being real. Bless you!"
"His presentation blew away my expectation. I expected a cliched speech mixed with corny dancing, but it was entertaining and very relatable for not only the group of students that attended, but for myself,a college graduate. He accomplished the main goal which was to get the kids involved and
motivated to pursue a higher education. If your group attending will be college students and younger, he is the perfect choice...."
"I first heard Patrick speak at a National Leadership Conference for FCCLA ... of course, Patrick was a hit. Evaluations were 100% positive. We decided it was time for a return visit (4 years later) and once again Patrick did not disappoint. Provided a positive message to ...members while having fun with crowd interaction, then interacting with them during intermission and post conference. If you are looking for a high energy keynote speaker that can interact with the crowd while sending a positive message, Patrick is the one you want."
"More than 5,900 nationwide members, advisers, alumni, and guests of FCCLA gathered in Nashville to celebrate this year’s [theme], “Beyond the Label.” Patrick Perez served as a general session speaker...his performance was energetic, lively, and engaging...
